This program has two components:
a.) being a pacer and b.) requesting a pacer, during the run portion of the F2F testing.
• Confidence in pacing: knowing that you will meet the time requested by the Airman to complete the 1.5 mile run. Taking a
timer with you is HIGHLY suggested so you will know the time you and the tester should be running each lap in.
•90 and above scores on previous PT tests (preferably last 3)
•Supervisor’s WRITTEN approval and information for EVERY time you are going to be pacing (for the purposes of having no
conflict in Airman’s schedule)
•Black attire (shirts and shorts/leggings, for the purposes of having no confusion with other testers)
•STATE YOUR ACCURATE AVAILABILITY; i.e. if you are available on the “A” UTA, please ensure that you can come out and pace
as we may assign you to a requester. if there is a change in your schedule, please let us know accordingly.
•YOU MUST ALWAYS STAY AHEAD OF THE REQUESTER DURING THE RUN; this allows them to go faster if they can (for the purposes
of not slowing down the tester at ANY time)
• Request is made ONE MONTH PRIOR to actual F2F Test Date.
•Understands the NON-LIABILITY STATEMENT below:
THE PACER IS ONLY ASSISTING IN THE COMPLETION OF THE RUN IN THE TIME REQUESTED. NO GUARANTEE IS MADE AS FAR
AS THE PERFORMING AIRMAN’S TIME. THE PACER IS ONLY THERE FOR MOTIVATIONAL PURPOSES TO ASSIST THE AIRMAN IN
RUNNING FASTER/MAKING THE TIME REQUESTED.
